Arminia Bielefeld started the new season with lost away from Greuther Furth with 2:0.

The atmosphere in the squad isn’t ideal at the moment. Coach Stefan Kramer has some additional problems in front of this match. The first goalkeeper Patrick Platins will miss this game through injury, so the second-choice goalkeeper Stefan Ortega Moreno will start again. Dennis Riemer and Christian Muller are also sidelined, while midfielder Jan Fiesser is doubtful.

Union Berlin started the same as Armenia Bielefeld. They lost at home from Bochum with 2:1. Midfielders Ahmed Vaseem Razeek and Bjorn Joppek are injured and will miss this match. The coach Uwe Neuhaus has additional problem as he has lot of new players – Soren Brandy, Mario Eggimann, Damir Kreilach and Benjamin Kohler played against Bochum in the first round. Even Kreilach scored in the first round, I still believe they need more time for acclimatization.

I will mention that four of the last five mutual games between Arminia Bielefeld and Union Berlin have ended with two or three goals. I expect something similar again, particularly because both teams played matches with medium stake of goals in the first round.
