The Romanian league will have its prologue on Saturday, opposing CFR Cluj to Dinamo Bucharest in the Romanian Super Cup.
This trophy isn’t something most of the teams urge to have but I believe there will be some interest there this time, since CFR is eager to win all the possible trophies while Dinamo needs them also badly, considering they have lacked winning anything important in the past years, except the recent Romanian Cup.
Dinamo was awful in friendlies and coach Bonetti tested many young players instead of trying to build a team. I seriously doubt we will see these players too often next season and they will rely on the old guys who fought the fight in the previous season. They have scoring troubles and they look more like an Italian team at times, defending in numbers and trying to keep possession.

CFR had another big transfer campaign and coach And one tried to integrate the new players as soon as possible. They did quite well in the friendlies and showed only some defensive leaks but not when they have used the regular central defenders: maftei and Cadu. They were creating many goal chances but they found it hard to capitalize, which is something that might be fixed in time.
I don’t see Dinamo able to pose too many troubles in the Super Cup since CFR is definitely the more valuable side and, most likely, the most prepared one. The odds for CFR’s win are good to be taken under the circumstances. Anyway, stakes should be kept moderate since it’s still early in the season
