For me, San Jose is one of the best teams in MLS this season with lots of attacking players and a great depth. If they want to keep staying on 1.position they need keep wining. They have 11-3-3 with goal score 35:22. As guests they have 6-1-2 with goal score 17:11. Last match San Jose gave unbelievable comeback the win against LA Galaxy 4:3 after 2:3 on half time. San Jose have 12/17 matches with over 2,5 goals. As guests they have 8/9 over 2,5 goals. San Jose average goals: 3.35 and at away: 3.11 Match: Portland - San Jose 04.30h Portland had a solid phase but now nothing special. They are on 8.position with record 4-4-7 and goal score 14:20. At home they have 4-2-2 with goal score 12:9. Portland have 7/15 matches went over 2,5 goals. At home 5/8 went over 2,5 goals. Portland average goals: 2.27 and at home: 2.63 In mutual matches I have the data for 8 matches from 2004. to now. Only 2 of them were matches in league. 3 matches were in Cup competition and one was friendly. Both matches in MLS last season finished with 1:1. So there aren't many goals but with current trend of both teams, especially taking into consideration guests I hope we could see some action in this match, too. So let's break this tradition. My suggest is over 2,5 goals! |
