Sao Paolo won all 3 league matches that they played at home this season. And all those matches ended with the same score of 1-0. They still did not concede at home.
Sao Paolo have strong squad and the only missing was a quality coach. Resignation of Emerson Leao and Milton Cruz’s temporal replacement, the team showed difference as they turned back to their original system in the defense. Now they play with 3 at backs and thus they reinforced their midfield. This system helps Sao Paolo to create fast dangerous attacks.
Match: Sao Paulo - Coritiba 21.00h
I will not mention very much about away team Coritiba. They just played the first leg of Brazilian Cup Final with Palmeiras and on Wednesday they are playing the second leg. I know many players will not travel to Sao Paolo and the team consider midweek clash more than the league. A special note I want to bring in to attention is these 2 teams played quarter final at Cup and Coritiba was the qualifying side. The first leg was won by Sa Paolo 1-0 and second leg Coritiba managed to defeat by 2-0. This may be a revenge match for the home team as well.
Sao Paolo won last weekend at away against Cruzeiro and it is for sure they play much better with the new management. They are much more efficient in attacking ways. This match shoud be much easier than Cruzeiro victory. Coritiba will have concentration problems and key players will be rested. Bet on home team who did not concede in 3 home matches they played this season.
