Brasov – Concordia 09.04.2012

Relegation battle and six pointer meeting.Brasov is typical home team and after playing 2 very good games against big guns Rapid and Vaslui they recorded a defeat at another relegation candidate Petrolul.After playing good defensive games against Vaslui and Rapid, Brasov was quite shaky in the second half at Petrolul where locals, energized by a new coach on bench, looked best team in second half and made Brasov looked poor.

But history of that game could have been different as in first half Brasov played good and missed good chances to open the score and game could have gone their way as i’m sure Petrolul would have been blocked mentally.Brasov will miss two defenders here, Munteanu and Ionescu and cpt.Munteanu is decent missing but replaceable tough.Brasov looked like a middle-table team lately and i think they wont have problems in scoring here, attack looked potent with Buga and Ilijoski, Nuno Viveiros also with good games lately, especially at Sportul or with Rapid where he scored a nice goal.

But main reason for this bet is Concordia Chiajna a team which is quite easy to read lately: underish and good home games and overish and shaky away games.I cant explain why they are so tough at home as with whole team changed in winter, only 2-3 players left from first part of the league, but they play quite organized, good pressing and potent offense.But away it’s different story, they are more fragile, their defense looks like amateurish.They received 4 at Vaslui, of course after their gk made some huge mistakes, and they also received 3 at Ploiesti but they could have received more, that poor their defense looked.Chiajna has very offensive players like Popa or Adi Rocha, even Dos Santos or Ilie Iordache (cant believe i say this) looked hot lately.Chiajna made some good points at their place playing decent, although in last homne performance they looked quite average in first half against Ceahlaul.But their coach made some decent changes at half time, Ilie Iordache stepped in and completely changed the face of the game.Chiajna looked like different animal and scored 2 goals and could have added more as their physical condition was superior.This is a well coached team, but i’m expecting them to be poorer here.Brasov will lead the game, they are tough at home and against this sort of teams they usually win.Chiajna defense isnt gelled yet and looks quite poor away.Brasov will score in first half, then they might add another one and after that Chiajna should react, they tend to play better in second half where their superior physicall condition allows them to dominated the endings.Dont know if this is the case also here since Brasov is also good coached team and they have good physical condition, but even if not, Chiajna has looked ok from offensive point of view and they can create chances here.Odds are too good to miss this bet!
