Mechelen – Waasland-Beveren
It’s began Playoff Belgian league, were teams divided into a group where the teams fighting for the title (top 6) while the teams from 7 to 14 seats are located in the so-called Europa League Playoff.
Mechelen is the first part of the season finished in ninth place while the number of Beveren finished as 14th with only 2 points more than Cercle Brugge who is with Lierse fighting for survival (15th and 16th). Mechelen is a very good home where they made 15 appearances on the effect of 7-6-2 with goal difference 21:11 while Beveren as a guest desperate to 15 games even 11 losses.
When the form is concerned, Mechelen in the last 4 matches recorded 4 wins (even at home defeated the mighty Standard 1:0), while Beveren disastrous, for the last 4 games were won by only 1 point.
Despite this so far, probably the strongest reason why I am confident in the victory of the home is that it comes without even Beveren 11 players (of which 6 players are regulars) as follows: Bojovic, Cale, Corstjens, Sousa, Vermeulen, captain Hubert, Henkens, Ibou, Vukusic, Oumarou and Coosemans. As you can see this little bit of good players who have Beveren will not play tomorrow so really anything but convincing victory Mechelen be a sensation.
Admittedly not Mechelen tomorrow will be a complete absence will be Claes, Matthys and Cisse were injured while Van Damme suspended or Mechelen has adequate replacements for them and they are Algerian Hanni, Polish Wolski who is on loan from Fiorentina, Steven de Petter and young Wannes van Tricht who has recovered from injury and will be back in the squad.
Mechelen is a much stronger team at home should not have any problems against the reserve team Beveren.
