Osters – Syrianska 16.08.2013

Osters finally managed to win in the last round. They won 2:0 against Hacken and I believe the victory will have a positive impact to the players and fans.

The coach Andreas Thomsson is surely satisfied with his players’ performances. Freddy Soderberg scored the first goal, while Vladica Zlojutro the second in the finish of the match. The victory is very valuable as it was obtain away from home, against strong team like Hacken. Even more, Osters are unbeaten on the last three matches in Allsvenskan. They shared the points on the previous two games, against Brommapojkarna and Mjallby. I will also mention that coach Thomsson has all players available for this match. But not everything is positive for him – the pitch was destroyed by some horse competition, so he has a problem with the trainings.

Syrianska are on the bottom of the table with only 10 points form 19 matches. They have just two victories the whole season. Syrianska are also in bad form at the moment – seven defeats on the last eight matches in Allsvenskan.

Syrianska have no win since April and that’s a problem. The atmosphere in the squad is negative and the players confidence are low. The resignation of sport director Jan Grigo made the things even worse. He claims that the club officials have tried to sign players without his knowledge, which was unacceptable for him. The coach Ozcan Melkemichel is under pressure, as well as the players. Brazilian striker Gabriel Machado was bought during the Summer transfer period, but the fans are still waiting for his first goal. One player is sidelined through injury – Alexander Michel.

Osters won the reverse fixture against Syrianska in April as guests. I believe they will win again, this time in front of their fans. In few words, Syrianska are in terrible form and Syrianska have no quality for Allsvenskan.
