Valencia – PSG 12.02.2013
Valencia have no important missing players for this match.
Joao Pereira, Victor Ruiz and Diego Alves didn’t started against Celta Vigo at Saturday, but will be included in the starting eleven on this match.
PSG on other side have two important players out injured. Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta will not take part in this match and their absence is a handicap for Ancelotti. However, the Italian coach has a big roster and I am sure he has adequate replacements. By the way, they missed the last games for PSG in domestic championship. The new signing David Beckham will travel to the Spain, but only to watch this match.
Valencia is unbeaten in the last four domestic matches. I rate this as very positive moment, specially because they played against Real Madrid (Copa del Rey) and Barcelona (La Liga). Both matches finished with identical 1:1. The last European match came on 20.11.2012 against European vice-champion Bayern Munich. The result was again the same – 1:1. I expect something similar now. However, this is a tricky game and I will suggest something else, Under 2.5 goals.
Match: Valencia – PSG 20.45h
League: Champions League
Our prediction: under 2.5 goals Odds: 1.85
PSG played six matches in the group stage of UEFA Champions League. Normally, three of them were away from home and all three finished with Under 2.5 goals.
As You can see, The Parisien club have received only one goal on the road in Europe this season. Valencia on other side have not lost a home game in UEFA Champions League since September 2010. That is why I am expecting a hard battle with maximum two goals here.
