AC Milan – Verona 19.01.2014

I have been following AC Milan this season pretty well. But I haven’t made any serious bets on them yet.

Today I decided to go with some high stakes because I really see big value on the odds despite Milan’s bad form and results lately.

Clarence Seedorf is new coach of Milan. Surely the players will give their 100% today in order to put impresum on the ex football star – it usually happens in football that team performs above their capabilities when new coach arrives, I hope it happens today as well. Second Milan played very strange last league game against Sassoulo where they lost by 4-3. But I watched them against Spezia in the Cup match this  week where they won by 3-1 in quiet rotated squad. I don’t know why but I just feel that here is big momentum on AC Milan and that they have to perform well today in front of their fans! They have to start playing better and get out of 1 win in 5 games which is their latest form. The home team will still miss out defenders Abate  and Constant, forwards El Shaarawy and Pazzini with suspended Muntari. The rest of the team is fit.

On the other side Verona is doing well this season with some great football quality and are positioned 6th. Surely they will be motivated for a win against Rosoneri side, but that bite will be too much for them. Bad news for them they will lack of top scorer forward Luca Toni who has been in good form this season. 

In the first match this season Verona won by 2-1, now Milan has to pay them back for that loss and take important points and prove to their fans and media that this team has not given up fighting in the league.

I choose goals here because of the momentum, new coach, nice previous home win against Spezia and quality overal that they have for sure ,but match against Verona never is easy like it seems.
