Arsenal – Everton 16.04.2013

I believe Wenger will get the maximum from his players again.

Arsenal can go four points clear of both Chelsea and Tottenham, if they win on this match. The Spurs will have a match in hand, while the Blues will have two, but nobody guarantee they will win. In addition, four-points advantage will means a lot on psychological field.

Wenger has almost all players available for this match. Tomas Rosicky, who missed the last match through injury, is doubtful again. Of course, Abou Diaby remains on long-term injury list. There is one positive news for Wenger as central defender Per Mertesacker is back after completed a one-match suspension for the red card he received against WBA.

Everton is currently four points behind Arsenal and it seems they are out of the battle for Champions League spot. However, a potential victory on this match will change matters dramatically. I believe the manager David Moyes will try to win. His team is in excellent form at the moment. The Merseyside team have four wins in the last five Premier League matches. But all four wins were obtain at Goodison Park. Everton away form doesn’t look impressive. The Toffies have no win on the last four away league matches.

Moyes has no new injury concerns and could name the side that beat QPR on Saturday. Seamus Coleman will continue to play at right-back as Tony Hibbert lacks fitness after a long-term injury.

At the end I will mention the tradition. Everton have failed to beat Arsenal in the last 11 encounters. Plus, the Gunners have four victories on the last five mutual games at Emirats.I expect Arsenal to win again.
