Arsenal and Tottenham are neighbors on the table. The hosts have 16 points from 11 rounds, while the Spurs have one point more. The fans from both teams are not satisfied with the current positions and their expectations are much bigger. That is why I am expecting both managers to go for the victory on this match.
Arsene Wenger will be missing Abou Diaby, Gervinho and Lukasz Fabianski for this match. However, there are some positive news for Wenger. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky and Wojciech Szczesny are all in contention. Jack Wilshere is back from suspension. Even Kieran Gibbs could make a surprise return. Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has four sidelined players – Mousa Dembele and the long-term absences Scott Parker, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul. Three more players are rated as doubtful – Aaron Lennon, Kyle Walker and Jermain Defoe.
I watched Arsenal against Fulham last week. The Gunners had 2:0 lead after the first 23 minutes with two goals scored by Giroud and Podolski. It seems Arsenal will obtain a routine victory, but then everything went wrong way. However, what I want to say is they conceded goals easily. Before that Arsenal lost 2:1 from Manchester United at Old Trafford. The defenders made lot of mistakes on the mentioned two games and I believe their confidence isn’t very high at the moment. Arsenal have kept just one clean sheet in the last 14 matches.
Tottenham are also playing hot and cold. At the moment they are in series of two consecutive defeats. Anyway, I will put my accent on something else – how Tottenham played against top teams. They already played against Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. The Spurs have won once and lost twice, but all three matches have finished with Over 2.5 goals. Tottenham won 3:2 against United, lost 2:1 from City and played a six-goals thriller with Chelsea – they were defeated 4:2.
The last six mutual games in Premier league were all efficient.I believe this will continue.
