Crewe – Tranmere 08.09.2012

Last weekend i was on Crewe over against Coventry but what a disapointement from Sky Blues, they couldnt put enough and Railways Men got their first league win.

But gonna try it again this time since now leaders of League One are visiting Crewe and this should be interesting enough.I dont really believe in Crewe defense, i dont know how they got that clean sheet against Coventry but surely has to do more with poor run of form from visitors than a solid defensive performance from Crewe.And i say this cause Crewe is a young, talented side who enjoys to play good footy at their place, but they dont have great defense and that was visible in their visits, from where they got 5 at Brentford or 2 at West Ham.Ok they are not that bad as i may suggest but still they dont have enough defense in them to keep two clean sheets in a row.But they do have goals in them, they scored 5 against Hartlepool in League Cup, they played a good game against Notts 1-2 and they also scored 2 away at struggling Scunthorpe.I think they are typical candidate for goals since they dont have strong defense and they can score goals having decent talent in their squad.Midfielder Aneke, on lon from Arsenal, might make his debut here.

Tranmere is simply flying high and has plenty of form in them.They suffered a set back this midweek, losing away at Port Vale 0-2 in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, but they also rested 4 players so that might have an impact.Other than that, last time Rovers simply battled Colchester at home 4-0, with Cassidy scoring a triple.Prior to that they lost at Aston Villa 0-3 in League Cup and have also beaten Carlisle 3-0 away from home with Robinson scoring a triple, this time.They also played away at Shrewsbury and drew 1-1, but they had to thank their gk for pulling a string of fine saves since locals created decent chances.That means Tranmere aint that solid defensivelly, they are over all a strong home team, bit shaky when playing away.Considering their good condition they are capable of scoring 2-3 goals here, they have plenty of men in form and since also Crewe can score and receive this one has decent chances of going overa.
