Fiorentina – Juventus 25.09.2012

Fiorentina spent lot of money during the Summer transfer period and they have big ambitions in the new season. The new sport director Daniele Prade and the new coach Vincenzo Montella are in process of creation of a new, strong and experienced team.

They bought good and experienced players like Aquilani, Borja Valero, Rodriguez, Fernandez, Cassani, El Hamdaoui, Lupatelli, Pizarro, Luca Toni etc. Fiorentina have won two Serie A title in their history, the last coming in the season 1968/69. The fans are dreaming about the new trophy, but I think it’s too early for that. After four rounds the Viola is on the fifth position with 7 points.

Juventus on other side started the new campaign in perfect way. They have all four victories and the atmosphere in the squad is excellent. The players confidence is very high at the moment and I think they will try to win at Stadio Artemio Franchi in Firenze. The coach Antonio Conte rest some of his best players (Andrea Pirlo, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Arturo Vidal) in the last round and it is expected they will start here.

I expect at least three goals on this match. As I already wrote above, Juventus players are full of confidence. I think they will go for victory, no matter they are guests. Juventus have scored at least two goals on every single match this season, including the Champion’s League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Fiorentina must accept such open approach as they play at home. The Viola strikers are also in good form, they have scored at least once on every match.

So, I think both teams are able to score. The last season’s matches finished with Over 2.5 goals both. Juventus won 5:0 in Firenze and 2:1 in Torino . I expect at least three goals once again.
