Getafe – Mallorca 01.10.2012
I expect at least three goals at Coliseum Alfonso Perez Stadium in Madrid.
The hosts didn’t started the new season very well and they suffered three defeats in the first five matches. The coach Luis García can’t be satisfied with his player’s performances. However, something else is important for my pick. Getafe have scored and received on every of the five matches they played in Primera. At the same time, four of them finished with Over 2.5 goals.
This is the first reason for my pick. The second is connect with something else. Getafe will be missing the central defender Alexis Ruano due to suspension. He was sent off against Celta in the previous round and received two-games ban. Alexis Ruano is extremely important, he played all five matches so far and even scored one goal.
Mallorca started the new season in solid way. They have won all three home matches and played two draws on road. The coach Joaquin Caparros is satisfied with the results, just as the fans. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent and the players confidence is very high. I believe they will play for the victory here. As one of the key players Ximo told AS: ‘It would be nice for the team to make history but the important thing is to get the three points in Madrid’.
At the end I will mention that the last three mutual games played in Madrid finished with Over 2.5 goals. I believe both teams will play for the victory. That is why I am expecting Over 2.5 goals here.
