Hamburger – Hannover 29.09.2012

With Hamburger who put their form up in last 2 or 3 games, where they scored 7 goals and deserved a win in their last encounter against M’Gladbach, it will be a suprise if they don’t repeat good in front of their fans but Hannover is extremely dangerous this seasson and has very effective attacking options.

It is hard to analyse Hamburg. But at home they are always difficult to beat, at least in the past. This seasson they are shaky. With 4-2-3-1 system, they look really open, scoring, but recieving goals. van der Vaart is getting better every game, he made two assists in their 3-2 win over Dortmund week before and has scored in their 2-2 draw against M’Gladbach where they clearly deserve win, since van der Vaart missed crucial penalty. With 5 played games this seasson, including their loss to Karlsruher in the Pokal game, Hamburger avarage 4.6 goals per game. In their last 3 games they went on over 3.5. I believe they will be motivated for a win against Hannover, which can cost them since they play very open style of football, and Hannover is very dangerous in counter attacks.

Hannover plays Europa League this seasson. They have to rotate a lot. Under coach Mirko Slomka, they made really good results this seasson. From July 2012 when their preparation period started, they managed 9 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses.

Afterall, there is no reasson not to see a interesting goalmouth game today, since Hamburger will be looking for a win, but the way they play is dangerous both for them and for their opponenets. Hannover is no joke this seasson, and they know to score taking every single game seriously. I see a very open game.
