Hannover – Schalke 26.08.2012

Hannover managed a great last season for their standards which granted them a place in the Europa League.

There, they easily disposed of St Patrick and now are coming after a 5-3 win at Wroclaw. Moreover, they played a Cup game, winning 6-1 against Nottingen. They have great attacking players and I believe they will be one of the teams to watch this season when you think about betting on over, since their defense isn’t too bright either.

Schalke is also coming after a 5-0 win in the Cup against Saarbrucken and they’ve kept their offensive appetite, despite losing Raul this summer. They have a young and enthusiastic side and there are plenty of attacking options including new signing Obasi and also Farfan, Huntelaar, Puuki or Marica.

The Bundesliga football is usually an offensive one and these two teams aren’t any different to this mentality. It’s all about conversion since chances are plenty and they have what it takes to score. Therefore, the price for over 2,5 goals is a good bet from my point of view.
