Juventus is on the top of the Serie A with massive 11 points advantage to the second placed Napoli. Mathematically, the Old Lady still need few more points to secure the Scudetto and this match is the first opportunity. On contrary, Palermo have different kind of issues as they are deeply involved into the relegation battle.

Juventus is in good form in the last period. The Bianconeri are in excellent series of seven consecutive victories. In that period they managed to beat Catania, Bologna, Inter, Pescara, Lazio, Milan and city rival Torino. The atmosphere in the squad is positive and the players confidence are very high. Nicolas Anelka, Mauricio Isla and Simone Pepe will be absent again due to various injuries, but that’s not a problem as the coach Antonio Conte has big roster.

Palermo actual form could be described as solid. The Sicilians are unbeaten in the last five matches and this includes three victories. The new coach Giuseppe Sannino is doing a good job. He has some problems for this match as Andrea Mantovani is injured and Michel Morganella suspended. Still, the biggest worries are connect with Josip Ilicic. He is rated as doubtful.
