The team have since suffered back to back defeats to Napoli and Genoa, but the game against Siena is a perfect opportunity for the hosts to return to the right track.

Siena faced a difficult task of staying alive after being slapped with a 6-point penalty for their involvement in the match-fixing scandal, but the team have done surprisingly well to neutralize the deduction. Robur have already taken 8 points, meaning they now stand on 2, and need just one more victory to escape the relegation zone. However, team’s recent performances have left a lot to be desired, as Siena were very fortunate to pick up so many points after being outplayed by Udinese, Inter and Bologna, so it appears the time has come for them to be punished for a string of under-par showings.
