Livorno are in mixed form at the moment – one win (against Atalanta), one draw (with Torino) and one defeat (from Inter).
The coach Davide Nicola is under small pressure as Livorno are just three points from the relegation zone. However, his team have already faced four sides inside the top six, plus the following match against reigning champion Juventus this weekend. But that means Livorno will have an easier schedule in the next period.
At this point I will mention that two of the last three Livorno matches at home have finished with Over 2.5 goals. Paulinho, Alfonso De Lucia, Ruben Botta and Marco Biagianti are sidelined through suspensions and injuries.
Juventus are in series of four consecutive victories and they came only one point behind the leader Roma. The atmosphere in the squad is excellent and the players confidence are high. In the meantime Juve played a 2:2 draw with Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League. The coach Conte could be satisfied with the performances of his players.
I expect an efficient match at Stadio Armando Picchi. Even more as three of the previous four matches when Livorno were host ended that way – with Over 2.5 goals.
There is one more reason for the pick. The coach Antinio Conte have lot of problems in the defense. Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna are suspended, plus Andrea Barzagli is injured. Stephen Lichtsteiner and Mauricio Isla are struggling with injury complaints, while Simone Pepe is sidelined. I think Livorno are able to score.
I expect an efficient match here.
