Man City – Swansea 01.12.2013

Manchester City have 100 percent success at Etihad Stadium,

have scored 26 and conceded just two so far in their six games. Their away form is far from impressive – only one win and four defeat. Manchester currently sit on 4th position, six points behind leaders Arsenal. Their last two home wins in the Premier League were impressive. The team best goalscorer Sergio Aguero is in excellent form, he is also the best scorer in the Premier League.

The defender Vincent Kompany has a full training after recovering from a thigh problem, but will not be ready to play against Swansea. He was out for two months. The defender Matija Nastasic is likely to miss the next three weeks with a calf injury. The goalkeeper Joe Hart has played against Plzen in the Champions League, so probably will be in the starting eleven.

Swansea are on the 10th position with 15 points. They have earned more points as guests (9 after 3 wins) then as hosts (only 6). In the last round they won against Fulham as guests. That was the only victory in the previous four rounds.

Swansea’s new striker Wilfried Bony is still sidelined due to a hamstring injury. The striker Michu is struggling with an ankle injury, so the coach Laudrup may give a chance to Getafe on-loan striker Alvaro Vasquez. The defender Angel Rangel will miss the match due to a calf injury.

According to all previous mention I expect a home victory on this match. Interesting, Swansea managed to keep draw after the first 45 minutes. However, I believe in different scenario this time. The Citizens are in terrific home form and I believe they will decide the match after the first half.
