Partizan – Valletta 24.07.2012
Not much to say here. Altought Serbian league catch the bottom still difference between Partizan & Maltese side La Valleta is huge. We saw it in 1st leg (Grobari won 4-1) and we’ll see it again. Why? Well, just in few words.
Partizan saved almost whole team from last season and its surprising for me cuz its not policy of the club. But lets be honest and say that if Tomic & Babovic are your 2 top players, you can’t expect some great offers, right? Both of them played really good against Valleta, Babovic especially but again, its just Valleta. Coach Vermezovic annouced starting line and he will field the best one. Lovre is injured, Zabia is not ready yet, so yes, this is the strongest possible team. I believe its good decision as there is still time for some players to shine and scouts put their names in lists. So, beside home ground and debut infront of their fans, players will be motivated enough.

About Maltese team I can say only from what I saw in 1st game. Except 2 good counters and pretty dangerous Mifsud, this team is really amateurish side. Partizan had totally domination in ball possession, I expect even bigger in this game so altought Partizan’s defense is very shaky, its hard to me to see Valleta to score.
To sum, Partizan is not world beaters but through history we saw that they never had problems with teams from not so strong football countries. Conditions for play will be perfect and with nice support from stands, I see trashing here.
