Pazzini show for Milan victory over bologna

During the summer, Milan had to lose many impontant players like Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Cassano, Gattuso, Nesta, Seedorf. They also signed some good players like Pazzini, de Jong, Krkic Muntari and Montolivo.

Early friendly fixtures were won; but the last two games were resulted with two defeats against Real Madrid (1:5) and Juventus (2:3). So there were some question marks about their performance of 2012/2013 in general. The worries of the fans reached a pick as they lost their first fixture  with a narrow defeat against Sampdoria at San Siro.

Before coach Allegri’s team move to Renato Dall’ara stadium in order to face Bologna, they all knew that they start to hear the mutters of the fans, if they could not win. They were also missing the services of Robinho, Muntari, Pato, Abate, Strasser and Vila due to their injuries.

Milan made a better start to the match and had some efforts with Boateng. After Pazzini went down in penalty area as he head a tussle with Cherubin, the refree showed the penalty spot. Pazzini took the lead with a cool-blooded kick in his first Milan start after his transfer from Internazionale.

Beore the half time whistle, Bologna levelled the game with the penalty kick of Diamanti after he was tripped by Noverino.

In the second half, Milan were thankful to Bologna keeper Agliardi as he was unable to clear a cross and then Pazzini was on the right place to take the lead again. Five minutes before the full time whistle, Pazzini made it three with a lovely touch for Milan and coach Allegri took  a deep breath for now.

It was exactly a great night for Pazzini who has scored only five goals at Inter. There is no doubt that he has guaranteed his start place until Pato and Robinho recover.
