Rapid B – Otelul 20.05.2012

Nothing at stake here, well maybe 4th place for better money from TV rights but considering that Rapid had a cup final this wendsday i doubt Rapid will use that as a real motivation.

I’m taking this bet rather small, mainly cause Rapid will use an experimantal squad here and also cause weather is very bad, it is rtaining since morning and it rained also last ninght and since it’s a meaningless game, dont see both teams giving 100% here.Also game is played only with childs and women so not the usual support from Rapid fans.But lately Rapid has been good reharding overazzos since defense was making gift after gift and since offense is not that bad, with some quality players like Teixiera, Pancu who can provide goals from nowhere.In last 7 Rapid games, 5 of them ended with both teams to score, in many of them Rapid defense simply gifted goals, see the games with Tg.Mures, Steaua, Pandurii, Gaz Metan etc.

Otelul also in vacation but they are expected to use best team here and lately Otelul hasnt been that organized and defensive minded team that we all know from last year.In fact, Otelul played some good games from offensive point of view having attacker Didi in nice form like in the wins over Sportul, U Cluj or Pandurii.Last round they had a tough game over rivals from Vaslui and they didnt played a bad game losing 1-2 in the end but they put some pressure in second half and could have find an equalizer.Still whenever Otelul met teams with offensive quality their defense was in trouble.Rapid won last round away at Sportul, well not really an away game, and secured a place for EL with a deserved 2-0 win but Sportul although they were rather poor as of late, could have still scored since they had 2 good chances and a clear penalty denied but also Rapid had another 2 post and several good chances.That game could have easily gone overazzo so maybe this time goals will come, in spite of bad weather and potential experimental 11 from Rapid.
