Siena were always going to be on the main candidates for the drop after they were slapped with a six-point penalty for their involvement in a match-fixing scandal. Considering all the problems young coach Andrea Stramaccioni has faced this season, he has got to be congratulated for leading Inter to the fourth place in the standings. Numerous changes to the playing squad, important absentees and hectic schedule were things the Neroazzurri had to contend with, but they did very well to remain in the race for Champions League places.
