Spain – Uruguay 06.02.2013
This friendly match will be played on neutral venue, at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
The fans will like to see an open match with lot of goals.
Spain will be missing lot of players due to various reasons. The captain Iker Casillas is injured, just as Xabi Alonso and Xavi. Three more players are not called for this match – Javi Martinez, Roberto Soldado and Fernando Torres. The coach Vicente del Bosque probably do not count on them anymore.
Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has only one notable absence – Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez is sidelined due to a leg injury. However, I believe Tabarez will find an adequate replacement.

As I already wrote above, I expect goals. Spain is the actual World and European champion, they are very strong. La Roja are unbeaten on the last 17 matches, winning 13 of them. Del Bosque announced an offensive 4-3-3 formation. But Uruguay is also strong team, they are the actual South American champions. Tabarez has announced 4-3-3 formation too. He has three extra-ordinary strikers in Luis Suarez, Diego Forlan and Edinson Cavani. Luis Suarez is in great form playing for Liverpool and he is the second top-scorer in the Premier League. Liverpool striker needs just 4 more goals to overtake Diego Forlan’s record (33 goals) and to become Uruguay all-time leading scorer. I believe he will be very motivated on this match. Edinson Cavani also play in great form in Napoli, he is the top scorer in Serie A.
I believe there will be at least three goals here.
