St. Pauli – Bochum 12.11.2012

St. Pauli is currently on the 11th place with 14 points. They improved the form in the last period and obtained two important victories in the last two rounds – 3:2 against Dresden at home and 2:0 against Munich 1860 on road.

Five goals were scored by three players. Fabian Boll and Daniel Ginczek scored two goals each, while Christopher Avevor scored the fifth goal. The hosts have one problem for this match. The captain Fabian Boll got injury on the last match and was replaced. He is rated as doubtful, but I hope he will be ready for this match. Four other players are definitely sidelined – Florian Bruns, Soren Gonther, Lennart Thy and Lasse Sobiech. Bovhum started the new season very bad. At the moment they are on 14th position with 10 points. The situation is critical as the last placed team have only one point less then Bochum. The additional problem for Bochum is connect with the actual form. They suffered three defeats in the last four matches.

Bochum was terrible on the last two matches away from home. Not only they lost both matches, but received 9 goals. Bochum also have some missing players. Lukas Sinkiewicz is suspended, while Patrick Fabian, Slawo Freier and the first-choice goalkeeper Andreas Luthe are injured. The absence of Luthe is a big handicap for Bochum as his replacement Philipp Heerwagen is not on desired level. Finally, Florian Brugmann is doubtful.

At the end I will mention that St. Pauli have won the last three mutual games against Bochum and I believe St. Pauli will win once again.
