Sweden – Serbia 05.06.2012

Serbia played 2 friendlies during last week and both lost 2-0 from Spain & France. Both defeats came pretty easy and mixed line up from Serbia can’t be excuse.

Yes, coach Mihajlovic checked big number of players in both games, many youngsters but again, with perfomances from that games, I can’t see anything more but another losing. I really don’t remember that Serbia created a single chance in both games. Anyway, for this game, coach Mihajlovic will use next players. On goal, young Aleksic will make debut. Last trio will be Maksimovic, Subotic & Lukovic, on flanks Obradovic & Tomic. Last 2 midfielders young Mijailovic & Petrovic and upfront Lazovic, Tosic and Lekic. So, my question is next… Can Serbia do anything with 5 players from extremely strong Serbian SuperLeague? Aleksic, Mijailovic, Lazovic, Maksimovic and Tomic are not ready for this level yet so I see many holes in this line up.

I dont have a lot about Sweden except that this game will be their last check before EC and that they will field strong line up. I have no doubt about their adventage in quallity here and if we add form, teamplay, experience & home support, Sweden should win without doubts here.

Simple, those games Mihajlovic is using to check some young powers, he’s changing a lot so its not even surprise why Serbia looks so pathetic. With 5 players in starting line up from Serbian SuperLeague, I have to bet against them but the odds with their victory are falling so to me now it seems quite tempting to bet on which will be home team achieved two or more goals.
