Tottanham – Inter Milano 07.03.2013
Tottenham is in terrific form at the moment.
On Sunday they managed to beat the City rival Arsenal and now are very close to secure UEFA Champions League place. The Spurs are doing well in Europe League too, they managed to eliminate the French giant Olympique Lyon in the previous round. Gareth Bale is in brilliant form, he scores in every match. The Welsh midfielder has scored 13 goals in his last 13 games. He is the player able to make the difference in every match. The manager Andre Villas-Boas announced Bale in the starting line-up and that’s one of the reasons why I am expecting Tottenham to win.

Inter are rebuilding their squad. They have invested in young players and are a club in change. But they’re involved in three competitions. The Europa League means a lot to them, as it does to us.
Inter played very inconsistent this season. The coach Andrea Stramaccioni is under pressure, just as the players. The fans are expecting their team to be involved into the Scudetto race, but the reality is very different. There is one additional problem after Antonio Cassano was dropped for weekend win over Catania after a row with manager Stramaccioni. However, with only Rodrigo Palacio available in the attack, the coach has decided to include the enigmatic striker in the squad for London. But something else is important – the atmosphere in the squad is far from ideal.
I think Tottenham is closer to the victory. The Spurs are in excellent form and they have the home advantage. The manager Villas-Boas is familiar with Inter, he worked there for 18 months as a part of Jose Mourinho team. Finally, Tottenham have won the only European home match against Inter.
