Tottanham – Man City 29.01.2014

Well, what else can we expect from this one, but at least three goals.

Both sides are in great shape, as Tottenham totally changed their look under the new manager and after the end of Boas period, as now we are seeing Spurs in much different and better light, way more attacking, which is the normal way, having in mind how much quality this side has up front. Also Adebayor was brought back in the squad after Boas left and this turned out to be a great move, as the striker came fired up and ready to prove himself, which he did in a really short time, having scored huge amount of vital goals for his side. Actually Tottenham had won sixteen points from their last six league games (5-1-0) and are now back in the fight for the Champions League spot, just behind Liverpool, on fifth position, but tonight they will have really harsh times.

City and over are two things that comes along together perfectly. This side is all about attack and I get Pellegrini really well, as with having such an incredible attack, with Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko, Nasri, Silva, Toure and with even Jovetic, who just don’t have a chance to prove himself, than what else can we do, but play ultra attacking football and just score more goals than your opponent, which is exactly what City is doing. The team is on a great run of six consecutive wins in all competitions, as well as are on an amazing run of nineteen straight games without a defeat in all tournaments, having won the incredible seventeen of those matches (17-2-0) and such stats are pretty amazing.
And with this two great attacking sides and adding the fact that their last meetings were extremely entertaining, ending with results 6:0, 3:1, 2:1, 3:2 and 5:1, I just can’t see different outcome but over in this game.
