Auxerre – Tours 08.02.2013

Auxerre played an incredible match against Laval last weekend. Not only they win, but the final score was 5:4.

It is rare to be seen nine-goals match in France, specially in League Two. However, Auxerre are scoring and receiving goals on every match. The new star is Yaya Sanogo, the 20 years-old striker that scored four goals on the last match against Laval. “I knew my form would come back,” he said after the game. Sanogo will enter this match full of confidence and I expect new goals from him.

Tours is also known as a team that play efficient matches. They played four league matches in 2013 and all of them finished with Over 2.5 goals. Bryan Bergougnoux is in excellent form, he scored three goals on the last three matches, while Prince Oniangue scored two goals.

Auxerre coach Bernard Casoni is likely to named an unchanged side after the great performance against Laval. He has two unavailable players as Adama Coulibaly and Prince Segbefia are on international duty. Tours coach Bernard Blaquart has bigger problems as seven players are struggling with injuries. Brice Maubleu, Jeremy Blayac and Ali Gherieni are definitely out, while Stephane Tritz, Yacoub Meite, Nicolas Seguin and Prince Oniangue are all rated as doubtful.

I expect an efficient match at Stade de l’Abbe Deschamps.
