World Cup 2014
Group C – World Cup 2014
This is a group where we can find the first great divergence of opinion as to who could be found in the next round. Simply put, this group is not the strongest, moreover far from it but it is certainly the most balanced so that placement in the Top 16 of any of these teams would not be too much of a surprise. Japan came with a huge ambition to reach not only to the second round, but beyond that. Excessive ambition I would say to those who did not have a significant investigative findings in the past. Since 1998., When they first qualify, the Japanese were involved in each subsequent Mondial but only twice out of the group stage. Neither the 2002nd when they were hosts could not do better than that. So I though they first crossed as potential participants in Top 16. Greece has known in the past to make a huge surprise, but I am primarily referring to the EURO 2004, which they won. But the World Cup is yet to work out much harder. This will be only the third ranking for Greece for the final tournament, though the second row. As in South Africa 2010., And the United States in 1994. Doubt that Greece can get out of the group stage. So no matter mentioned uniform quality in this group, it seems though that the Ivory Coast and Colombia a slight edge for placement in the next round. Ivory Coast it is also only the third participation in the final tournament but also the third row. A lot of experienced players in this selection, a player who is the last chance for notable result of the Mondial. We expect this African team for the first time is among the top 16 teams. In Ivory Coast, we can say that they have continuity because not only the third time in a row at the Mondial already have two notable results in the last two African Cup (second and fifth). My first favorite for the leadership position in this group is the national team of Colombia. That is one of the best players of the world – Falcao certain participant, then I do not think any doubt that Colombia is the most likely in this group. However, even if they were without their best player, though I give the greatest chance South American team. We should not forget the fact that Colombia in all encounters with the opponents feel their home due to the expected high support from their fans.
