Schalke – Greuther Furth 02.02.2013

Greuther Furth are worse. They have failed to win any of their last 17 league games, losing 11.

Just looking back at their last 6 games I see a solitary goal at home against Augsburg for a draw, and the 5 losses around that have all come without them even scoring. They have just 11 goals this season through 19 games, but have shipped 33, almost as many as Schalke have scored.
Schalke lost Holtby a couple of days ago in the transfer window, so he won’t be adding to his tally of 4, although they will miss his production as he had a hand in 7 more goals for Schalke. The man I’m going to be keeping my eye on is Huntelaar, as the Dutch striker is surely due some goals, and what better chance than at home against Greuther Furth.
